About the CR Market

Introduction

Since 2024, the CR Market has retained the services of Chantale Stucker, owner and founder of Creative Celebrations, which has been operating in the municipality for several years. Her business specializes in events. She has also added to her arsenal the Frozen Flamingo ice cream and candy truck, which has been serving up delicious treats to the community for the past few years. Chantale will take on the role of Market Lead for the year 2025, and we're confident that her addition to the team will enable the market to grow exponentially. Please join us in welcoming Chantale to the team!

Our Services

The CR Market offers vendors the opportunity to promote and sell their produce and products directly to visitors. It also provides an opportunity to support the local economy and build strength from within.

The CR Market is a community market experience that will increase access to fresh and nutritious food. It supports local farmers and small businesses who will sell directly to the public helping to drive the local economy. Visitors will be able to meet and talk to farmers and vendors in order to learn more about how and where their provisions and commodities are produced.

Our Goals

The goal for the CR Market is to increase access to healthy foods and to encourage community involvement and the importance of supporting local. The CR Market will enable residents and visitors to enjoy the opportunity of a market that will:

  • Promote the benefits of supporting local
  • Encourage a stronger and more resilient local economy
  • Support businesses that are owned by people who live in the community
